The Paul Revere Museum of Discovery and Innovation
Though better known for his eponymous ride, Paul Revere was also a local businessman and inventor in Canton, Massachusetts. In fact, the former site of the Paul Revere Copper Company is the location of the Paul Revere Museum of Discovery and Innovation (MoDI). Aimed at introducing children and adults alike to the principles of product and industrial design, the museum features interactive exhibits, many video-game based, where users can design their own toys and instruments or mill structures. MoDI also celebrates Revere's own legacy with artifacts from the original company buildings and historical timelines. The museum's placement along the Paul Revere Heritage Site situates it close to other historical buildings. The walkways at the site are paved flat and the museum has elevators to its upper floor.
