Walk & Talk with Lorraine Rubinacci & Ed Hands

Wednesday, October 94:00—6:00 PMGovernor Ames Estate

Join AFL’s Lorraine Rubinacci, author of our “Glimpse of Nature” blog, and historian Ed Hands for a twilight walk through the Governor Ames Estate. Enjoy the beautiful fall colors and learn how nature gets ready for winter. View rare specimen trees and learn how four generations of the Ames family and the Trustees of Reservations have shaped the landscape of this unique arboretum. With luck, see some of the birds and mammals that make the estate their home.

The tour will begin promptly at 4:00 PM in the Trustee’s parking lot at 35 Oliver Street.

In the case of inclement weather, this walk will be rescheduled for Thursday, October 10, at 4:00 PM. The status will be updated here as necessary.
