January’s meeting of our Tricentennial Book Club will be hosted at Shovel Town Brewery! Join AFL librarians to discuss The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal. The discussion will be followed by a beer flight offering with tasting notes, arranged exclusively for Book Club participants and led by Shovel Town Staff. This optional flight tasting costs $12 and will be at the patron’s expense.

Shovel Town Brewery is located at 50 Oliver Street, Rear. Fun fact: Shovel Town Brewery’s Music Bingo starts at 7:00 PM on Wednesdays! After book club, Shovel Town invites you to stay to enjoy their full food and beverage menu (at your personal cost) and enjoy the game.

Book Club participants must register for each event. Space is limited at each location. Group size may vary depending on book availability and location size. Only registered patrons may attend a session. Books will be available to check out at the library’s Circulation Desk thirty days prior to the meeting.
