Longtime musician/author Matt York performs songs and tells stories about two musical icons - Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan - and the important role their friendship played in the trajectory of folk and country music, creating a new lane of music that we now think of as Americana music, that merged two very different audiences.

Matt York lives on the South Shore of MA and has traveled extensively through the years performing his own songs and also doing The Highwaymen: Songs & Stories. York has twice been nominated for the Boston Music Award for Best Country Artist and he recently released his second book, The Words and Wisdom of Willie Nelson.
