Obit Writing Workshop with author Kate Klise

Wednesday, August 144:00—5:00 PM1st floor Presentation CommonsQueset House51 Main Street, Easton, MA, 02356

Anyone who's ever struggled to write an obituary for a loved one knows how hard it can be to convey a life story in just a few paragraphs. But writing our own obituary offers a rare opportunity to reflect on the road we've traveled.

Join Queset House writer-in-residence Kate Klise for an upbeat (really!) three-part workshop designed to help you craft a mini-memoir that can be used for Easton's Tricentennial, and then filed away with your estate documents. Bring your laptop or tablet, or a notebook and pen.

Registration is required; register once for all three sessions (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

It's Your Turn! Tell your story. This program is hosted in conjunction with Ames Free Library's 300 Years, 300 Stories project and in partnership with the Tricentennial Committee of Easton.

Registration for this event has now closed.
