Nature Hour at Queset House

Friday, July 242:00—3:00 PM1st floor Library RoomQueset House51 Main Street, Easton, MA, 02356

Starting in July, the library will offer a drop-in program for curious naturalists led by Lorraine Rubinacci. Here’s an opportunity to share photos, observations, and specimens, or to work with Lorraine on identification of plants and animals. Visitors may stop by for a few moments, or commit to a monthly gathering of people with  shared interests. Nature Hour will begin at Queset House on Friday, July 24, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. No experience necessary. Please bring an inquisitive mind and a willingness to share the joy of discovery.

Lorraine is a Queset House Manager and the library’s Volunteer Coordinator. She is also an experienced environmental educator and nature writer from Southeastern Massachusetts. A generalist with broad interests, Lorraine is especially fond of plant communities, vernal pools, coastal ecology, native plants, pine barrens, spring ephemerals, old-growth forests. . . and has difficulty choosing favorites!
