Library staff will read two Christmas classics aloud in a special Holiday Festival event! Come for one or stay for both.

There will be a short reading of The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore, followed by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, read aloud in its entirety. 

Readings will start at 5:30 PM, after the Lighting at the Rockery. A Christmas Carol is expected to start around 6:00 PM and last approximately three hours.

Spiced cider and hot chocolate will be available for free, courtesy of the Friends of the Ames Free Library. 

This event is free and open to all. No registration required.
