Award-winning storyteller Davis Bates presents "A Song and Story Celebration!"

Davis' participatory style of storytelling, honed over the past forty-six years, stems from folk traditions found in New England, Appalachia, and beyond! Viewers will encounter new vocabulary, new perspectives, and new ways to keep a beat – together.  

Bring your picnic blanket and hear how coyote got his howl, learn about a brave parrot, and sing to a dancing wooden dog named Bingo. Enjoy family stories, animal tales, sing-alongs, spoon playing, and more!

This program is brought to you with support from the North Easton Savings Bank. It's perfect for families with children of all ages. It is also funded, in part, by a grant from the Easton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be held at Oakes Ames Hall, located next-door at 3 Barrows Street.
